A successful book by Dr. Fondevila about Terrassa FC

With success and excitement, the updated edition of the book, "El Centenario del Terrassa futbol Club (1906-2006)", by Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila i Gascón, was presented in the VIP Hall of the Olympic Stadium of Terrassa. The event demonstrated the strength and passion of the earthquake, which savor some of the sweet moments of the Terrassa Futbol Club.

The presentation was also attended by the president of Terrassa FC, Jordi Cuesta, Irene Trullàs (director of Omnia Books, the publisher), representatives of the City Council of Terrassa and other personalities and representatives of entities, political parties, football clubs, sports clubs and the media. The book is available in Amazon.
According to Dr. Fondevila, "the updated reissue of the Centennial book is a success of all the terrassism." The author of the book (and others about club, football and sports in Terrassa) explained that "it is exciting and a reason to be pleased that the first edition of the book was exhausted and that it could have been re-published".
In the current version, with a redesign, new features have been included about Terrassa FC discovered in recent years. The main one refers to the number of titles in the club, the clear leader of the Vallès Occidental. Thus, it has been possible to determine, in further research with the help of grass hockey scholars, that the grass hockey section (which also included indoor hockey) remained with the club until 1961-62 season.
This means that the official titles (and friendly trophies) checked out won by Terrassa FC are 71 until 2006: 33 in football, 37 in grass hockey and one in indoor hockey (a Spanish Championship). The fact that the club holds 14th Championships of Spain of hockey and one of hockey hall (the highest state titles), four Catalonia Cups (the maximum football Catalan title), 23 hockey Championships of Catalonia (up title Catalan), as the most important conquests, reflects the potential and the triumphant trajectory of Terrassa FC throughout history, in both male and female modes. "Historically and statistically, Terrassa FC is a winning club, with a very positive balance and enormous efficiency in terms of titles won and finals won," explains Dr.Fondevila. In addition, the author of the book stated that he is in the search for new titles won by other sections of the club (cycling and athletics, for example), which can increase the already spectacular background.
The author, who claimed that "the pride of being of Terrassa FC", thanked the collaboration of club members, fans, citizens of Terrassa, the media and football historians of other municipalities, "Since they have provided the documentation and the information necessary to make a book that is of all the terrassism." "How nice it is to be a terrassist!", concluded Dr. Fondevila between a huge ovation.
